TopicsQuickstart: craft & share
Two ingredients. One new character.
Choose two different meme coins, turn their artwork into a crossover, then make it yours. A crafted image is a draft—not a launched token.
- Pick two coins
Search the library or use Add your own coin with a Solana contract address. On a phone, open the ingredient picker.
- Craft the crossover
Press Craft a new coin. Both source images inform the result. Wait for the result or a retry message; selecting a pair alone does not generate anything.
- Edit and keep a copy
Change the name, ticker, description and optional links. Find saved drafts in My creations. Use Export edited draft · JSON to keep your edited details outside this browser.
- Preview and share
Use Preview card, Copy link or Download PNG. The public card uses the original generated identity; local edits are not published by sharing.
See an actual saved crossover and its share card.
Open the artwork draft →Launching is live on Solana mainnet. You sign every transaction in your own wallet and pay its cost; nothing launches without your approval. Pair with SOL or an eligible parent coin, then choose where creator fees go. Pair and fee choices are permanent once confirmed.
Open the workbench →Find a coin—or bring a contract
The library contains screened Pump-origin coins, ranked by upstream USD market-cap estimates. It is not an audited global ranking. Inclusion does not guarantee safety, liquidity or fair ownership; check the catalog’s freshness notice when a source is unavailable.
Add your own coin accepts supported Solana token contracts with resolvable metadata and usable artwork. Imports stay under Imported, separate from screened rankings. Known excluded contracts are still refused. Paste the contract—not a ticker, website or address from another chain.
Keyboard: press / outside a text field to search ingredients or your saved creations. Escape closes the picker or share preview and returns to the control you opened it from. On a phone, the ingredient sheet scrolls as one list; its source date and close button stay within reach.
An ingredient supplies creative reference material. Its separate quote eligibility determines whether it can also be the trading currency.
Make variations without losing the draft
Craft a new coin uses both token images as references. Missing or unusable artwork blocks generation for that pair. Generation time varies; follow the workbench’s progress and error messages rather than treating a delay as success. A failed request does not retry automatically. If a retry delay is shown, wait before trying again; a failed variation leaves the previous artwork and edits in place.
Try another image requests a new variation. The browser keeps up to 30 recent drafts in My creations; older entries can fall out of that list. Generated artwork is stored by this host, while your draft edits are stored in this browser.
Search My creations by name, ticker or ingredient. Open a card to continue editing the same draft. On a public artwork page, Save a copy & edit adds the original to this browser; Continue editing reopens your existing edits without replacing them. Saving a public copy stops at 30 drafts rather than removing an older creation.
Clearing site data, switching browsers or a storage error can make local drafts unavailable. Download important artwork and draft details. A downloaded draft is a record of your choices, not a token or an automatic restore feature.
Edit the details before saving a launch
Your generated name is a starting point. Edit it freely on the workbench. Save metadata & review cost later publishes and freezes the details for that launch; subsequent workbench edits do not change the saved launch.
| Field | Rule |
|---|---|
| Name | Required; up to 32 UTF-8 bytes. Some emoji and accented characters use more than one byte. |
| Ticker | Required; 1–10 letters or numbers. The editor displays uppercase. |
| Description | Optional; up to 2,000 characters. |
| Website | Optional public https:// URL, up to 300 characters. No login credentials, port or fragment. |
| X | https://x.com/handle or https://twitter.com/handle. Handle: 1–15 letters, numbers or underscores. |
| Telegram | https://t.me/handle or https://telegram.me/handle. Handle: 5–32 letters, numbers or underscores, beginning with a letter. |
All links are optional. X and Telegram links must be profile/group links, without query strings. Links are validated before review; normal URL formatting may be normalized. Check the displayed links in Coin details before proceeding.
Choose one trading currency
Two parents inspire the artwork; only one currency prices the new coin. Choose it before launch. The pair is fixed afterwards.
- Buy C
- Pay A receive C
- Sell C
- Pay C receive A
B inspires the art; it is not a second reserve. This is a pairing illustration, not a live market or a two-coin basket.
- SOL is the standard pair option; this does not bypass launch availability.
- A selected parent is offered only after its on-chain quote eligibility is verified. Being an art ingredient is not enough.
- $CRAFT is enabled only if an eligible Memecraft root coin is configured. A disabled option is not an issued token or a benefit for holding one.
Parent pairing does not grant ownership or automatically pay the parent’s creator or holders. Memecraft links to Pump for trading; it does not provide an in-app swap router. See what the Pump update enables.
Choose the recipients deliberately
There is no default fee policy. You must choose one of three modes. The choice routes the creator-fee portion of Pump trading fees—not all fees paid by traders.
100% to Pump’s native holder-reward routing for this new coin.
Set in creation · irreversible100% to your connected wallet or one other recipient.
Separate fee finalization1–5 different recipients; their shares must total 100%.
Separate fee finalizationFinalized receipts plus on-chain readback establish the configured policy. They do not prove trading activity, earnings or a holder payout.
Holder rewards requires acknowledging that the choice cannot be switched back. It cannot be combined with a dev payout. Pump controls holder eligibility and distribution; no amount or payout schedule is promised.
Dev wallet and custom split: fees earned before fee finalization belong to the launching wallet, even if you selected another recipient. Finalization removes ordinary admin control over recipients; Pump retains privileged override powers. Every custom share must be positive, with at most two decimal places, and the total must be exactly 100%.
Read the estimated wallet debit
- Memecraft adds no platform fee to the launch. Pump fees, Solana network fees and account rent still apply.
- There is no initial buy: launching does not purchase any of the new coin for you.
- Each transaction must pass simulation before approval is offered. The estimate includes wallet debit, rent and network fees; it is not a fixed-price promise.
- The estimate is checked again before the wallet opens. If the cost rises, review the updated amount and approve again.
A failed simulation, insufficient SOL or an applicable rehearsal cap blocks approval. Saving metadata is a publication step, not proof that a transaction can complete.
A message, a publication, then transactions
- MESSAGESign in with your wallet
A text signature authenticates your address. This sign-in message does not create a coin or move funds.
- PUBLICATION · NO TOKEN YETSave metadata & review cost
Publishes artwork and metadata through Pump’s uploader. Freezes this launch’s identity, pair and fee choice.
- TRANSACTION · WALLET APPROVALReview cost, then approve creation
Simulation must pass. The wallet debit is rechecked before your wallet opens. Creation has no initial buy.
- DEPENDS ON YOUR FEE CHOICEVerify rewards—or finalize recipients
Holder rewards: routing is set in creation. Dev wallet or custom split: review and approve a separate fee-finalization transaction.
- FINALIZED RECEIPTS + READBACKOpen the verified coin page
“Live” requires finalized transactions and an on-chain fee-policy check. A saved draft or submitted transaction is not enough.
Launch walkthrough, not current permission to launch. The review checks availability before offering execution.
Holder rewards uses one creation transaction, followed by verification of reward routing. Dev wallet and custom split use creation plus a separate fee-finalization transaction. Each transaction requires explicit wallet approval.
Changing wallet account or network cancels the current review; nothing further is submitted by that review. It does not undo a transaction already submitted. Reconnect and check the saved state before trying again.
If your wallet shows a warning, stop and inspect it. Simulation is not a guarantee of wallet acceptance or safety. Memecraft does not claim universal Phantom clearance; do not disable wallet protections to continue.
Resume the same mint. Check what finalized.
Saving a launch freezes its mint, artwork, name, ticker, description, links, pair and fee policy. After a reload or lost connection, open the same creation and sign in with the same wallet when launch access is available. Resume the saved mint rather than creating a replacement.
- Saved launch
- Identity and metadata are saved. This alone does not mean a token exists.
- Waiting for confirmation
- A signed transaction is saved. Use Check confirmation and inspect its transaction link before retrying.
- Finalized receipts
- Creation and, when applicable, fee finalization have transaction links. The app separately checks the on-chain policy before marking the coin live.
Resend the same signed transaction reuses the saved transaction; it does not request a replacement token or a new signature. Confirmation or fee-policy verification can still fail. Follow the displayed recovery state rather than assuming an upload, signature or submission means success.
Keep your work. Resolve the blocked step.
Public launches aren’t open yet
This release does not offer public token execution. Keep editing, download the draft or share the artwork. Connecting a wallet does not bypass the launch gate.
An ingredient or quote is unavailable
For an import, check the Solana contract and retry the lookup. For a disabled parent pair, read the eligibility reason or choose SOL. A quote-read failure does not make the coin eligible.
Artwork generation failed
Your selected coins remain selected. Follow any retry delay shown by the workbench; there is no automatic retry. Missing reference artwork requires another usable ingredient.
My edited name is missing from the share card
The public card uses the original generated identity. Your local edits are still draft details; Export edited draft · JSON preserves those fields separately. Use Continue editing on the public artwork page to reopen your local version.
Browser storage or confirmation failed
For storage errors, download your work before leaving. For a saved launch, reconnect the same wallet and check confirmation. If a token exists but fee verification fails, do not launch a replacement.
New pairing rules. New creative possibilities.
Pump.fun’s October 7 update opens coin-to-coin pairing to eligible existing Pump coins, rather than only Pump-listed quotes such as SOL or USDC. That is the unlock behind Memecraft: two memes inspire a new creation, and one eligible parent can become its trading currency. Not just shared artwork—a native parent-paired market.
Pump published the coin-to-coin pairing documentation on October 7, 2026 — commit 8cda1fa, with an SDK and pricing follow-up on October 8 — commit 2293f9a. Memecraft is built around this newly available pairing capability; image mixing itself does not need the update. Public launches remain closed in this release.
The parent must itself be paired with SOL, USDC or another Pump-listed quote. An ordinary coin already paired with another Pump coin cannot become the next quote parent. Arbitrary nested pairings are not supported; eligibility is checked independently of artwork selection.
Other upstream capabilities—not an in-app trading claim
- Multi-hop trading: Pump can route SOL → parent → creation in one instruction without an intermediate parent-token account. Route fees apply once rather than stacking the full fee on every hop; trading is not fee-free.
- Smaller instructions: Pump v3 and PumpSwap v2 use fewer accounts. That does not itself lower prices or fees.
- Synthetic migration: the v3 buy that finishes a curve can continue into reserves intended for its future PumpSwap pool, at that pool’s price. This removes the remaining-curve cap on that buy, not slippage or liquidity limits. Further curve trades wait for migration.
These are upstream protocol capabilities, not evidence that Memecraft has executed them.
What a draft, a pairing or a receipt does not promise
- Artwork and public share pages depend on this host. Metadata is uploaded through Pump only when a launch is saved; an upload does not guarantee permanent IPFS retention.
- Pairing does not make a coin backed by both ingredients or register on-chain discovery rights in this flow.
- Screening, simulation and a configured fee policy are not guarantees of safety, market liquidity, earnings or payouts.
- These docs claim no Memecraft adoption, completed user launches or fee payouts. $CRAFT benefits are not activated by this guide.
